Here’s a breakdown of the most common Nevada probate scenarios:

Traditional – This is a typical probate process where the Estate has positive value after all debts and expenses are paid. We have an arrangement with our attorney partners that stipulates that they will work on contingency. This means there is no out of pocket costs for heirs with this program.

Underwater Real Estate – These are properties where the mortgage balance plus any liens or other fees is more than the properties resale value. We can help you through this complicated process. We will work with the mortgage servicer and lien holders to secure more time and often funds to relocate. We provide this service at no cost.

Set Aside – This is the process you go through when you would like to keep the property. This typically requires a payment to the probate attorney to complete the case. We can schedule a consultation and provide an estimate on the cost to complete a set aside probate.

Trusts – If the estate is in a trust, you may be able to bypass the probate process. However, this is not always the case. We will evaluate your situation determine if probate if needed.
